The Office of the Chaplain fosters and enriches the religious and spiritual life of the Rhodes College community. You can contact the Chaplain for advising, pastoral care, conversation, meditation tips, story-sharing, life planning, or to discuss your spiritual and religious needs. Chaplain Beatrix is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA) who is committed to serving all Rhodes College students (meaning people from every religious tradition and people who do not claim a religious tradition). At Rhodes College, we educate whole people for the whole world. We want our diverse student population to have the resources they need to for their spirit to thrive. Locations particularly hospitable to prayer and meditation include the Muslim Prayer Room in the lower level of the Library, the meditation area of the Interfaith Lounge on the fourth floor of Burrow Hall, the chapels in Bellingrath and Voorhies Hall, and the outdoor labyrinth located inside the gate at University and N.
