Please join fellow alumni and their families for a special weekend recognizing and celebrating the many contributions of Black students and alumni to Rhodes College. The weekend includes a compelling alumni and student panel discussion, the historic dedication and unveiling of the National Pan-Hellenic Council Plaza, and a banquet to honor milestone anniversaries of Black organizations at ��������. Friday, March 22 

3:00 - 6:00 p.m. Black Students and Alumni Family Reunion Weekend

6:00 - 7:30 p.m. Past to Present: The Evolution of Black Students at �������� and Creating a Culture of Belonging

Spence Wilson Room, Briggs Hall

A student and alumni panel, moderated by BSA Historian Ayzia Alexander ’25, will discuss the evolution of campus life for the Black student at �������� beginning with the origination of organizations on campus such as the BSA, NPHC, ASA, etc., highlighting the way these groups have created a sense of belonging for Black students on campus and how we chart a path forward for future Black students. A reception will follow.

Join us as we honor a significant milestone with the dedication of the NPHC Plaza on campus. This dedication ceremony is a special moment for our community to recognize the contributions of NPHC organizations to our campus culture and heritage.

After the dedication, enjoy a festive, complimentary campus-wide lunch with photo ops and a DJ.

2:00 – 3:30 p.m. 13th Annual Alumni Easter Egg Hunt

Check-in in front of Catherine Burrow Refectory

We will begin the event with an Easter Parade! Prizes will be given for the best-decorated wagon, stroller, bicycle, etc., and for the most festive Easter bonnet or hat! We will congregate at 2:00 p.m. in front of the refectory and “parade” around Phillips Lane. There will be two locations for the egg hunt—toddlers will search in Fisher Garden and older children, up to age 9, will search on the North Parkway lawn between Fisher Garden and Rollow Avenue of Oaks.

The egg hunt will begin promptly at 2:20 p.m.

Following the egg hunt will be cookie decorating and face painting. Bring your own basket and camera for photos with the Easter Bunny!
