Why Study Pre-Law at ·¬ÇÑÉçÇø?
Rhodes College has a long history of successfully sending graduates to law school. The college allows students interested in the law to choose any major. Roughly 10% of each ·¬ÇÑÉçÇø graduating class applies to attend law school.
The ·¬ÇÑÉçÇø experience combines the best of the classroom and the real world—through internships, service, research and other opportunities in Memphis and far beyond. Students learn, play, and serve others with a determination to grow personally and to improve the quality of life within their communities.
Our graduates have gone on to attend some of the top law schools in the country, including Harvard Law School, Yale Law, Notre Dame Law School, Vanderbilt University, and New York University School of Law among others.
·¬ÇÑÉçÇø alums hold prominent positions in the legal profession including Supreme Court Justice (Abe Fortas ’30), several Supreme Court law clerks, Federal Appellate and District Court Judges, State Attorneys General, U.S. Attorneys, prosecutors, public defenders, and equity partners.
